So, Liu Xiaobo is being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today, even though he’s serving 11 years in Chinese prison for dissidence. In response to this China has done the following:
- Called Obama a hypocrite for receiving the peace prize and still having a military (specifically in alliance with South Korea)
- Blocked the websites for BBC, CNN, and the New York Times
-Created a laughable fake “Peace” prize, awarded to someone who had no clue about it. The prize is really just a prize for people that support Beijing’s view of, well everything.
